A Data analyst collects numerical information through researching and using this information to present to companies in the form of graphs, charts, tables and reports as required. To be a good Data Analyst you will usually come from a strong mathematical background and also have excellent IT skills as this role combines both areas.
You will need to be a logical thinker in the way that you work and have a high degree of accuracy and be able to explain numerical information clearly to people who may not have the same understanding as you.
