Cover Letter for Welder
Application for a Welder
I would like to submit my CV in application of the position of Welder which I have seen advertised in (where and when).
NB: (This letter can go both ways depending on the experience that you have or whether you are looking at an apprentice role so you will need to adapt accordingly).
I have an excellent background in Maths and through my previous experience I can read and understand technical drawings and have had some experience of liaising with engineers.
I thoroughly enjoy working as a Welder as I like the technical aspects of the role and ensuring that a piece of metal work is completed correctly for the purpose it is made for. I am now keen on continuing with my learning and would be interested to do any qualifications/diplomas I can to ensure I can do the best for my role.
I am a methodical worker who pays great attention to detail and likes to ensure that my work is done accurately and precisely which is why I entered a career as a Welder.
I have enclosed my latest CV for you to look through and would be happy to answer any questions you may have relating to my skills and experiences.
Thank you for taking the time to read my application and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
