Application for a Counter Service Assistant
I have recently seen your advert for a Counter Service Assistant in (where and when) and I would like to apply.
I have had previous experience in this area at (where, when and brief on what it involved). I feel that I have excellent people skills and the previous experience I have gained in customer services has allowed me to develop my role and be successful. I feel that it is very important to provide good customer service and that a customer should always see a friendly face to speak to.
In my previous roles I have been involved in preparing and serving food and drinks, waiting on tables, taking orders, clearing tables, dealing with the till and payments, ensuring that the till balances correctly.
I feel that I am good at working under pressure; I thrive on a place being busy and adapt myself to any situation as necessary. I am flexible on the hours that I can work and can do shift as required.
I have enclosed a copy of my latest CV with my referee details. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for taking the time to read my application and I look forward to hearing from you.
