If you are an experienced Plumber looking for a new role then you will need to update your CV and show in detail your qualifications and what types of customers you have worked for in the past.

A plumber deals with any issues with leaks, plumbing, pipes, installing new bathrooms etc. You will need to be able to work hard under pressure to tight deadlines at times and be methodical in your approach to your work.

PERSONAL PROFILE

I am a hands on plumber who enjoys working as a Plumber. I have got 4 years experience behind me and I am very keen to work for a larger firm focusing on business requirements and new build houses.

I feel that I have got very good communication skills and have got a lot of repeat business customers but now I feel is the right time to step more into the business world and focus on improvements rather than fire fighting every day with plumbing problems. I am seeking a new challenge and would welcome the opportunity to try this for a period of time to increase my skillset and continue to build up my experience.

I am dedicated to my profession, very organized with excellent time management skills.

In my role as Plumber I visit clients if they have any plumbing requirements or work on new properties and at businesses. My responsibilities include:

  • Attending appointments on time and work through problems efficiently
  • Discuss any problems with customers and advise on the right course of action and associated timescales etc
  • Installing new bathrooms, kitchen equipment or washing machines etc that require plumbing in
  • Keeping paperwork and logs up to date and issuing customers with work schedules and signed work sheets.

QUALIFICATIONS

University, College, School – For all include titles/subjects and qualifications.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Computer skills – MS Office, Excel??? Anything relevant, industry specific packages?
List the plumbing courses that you have been on, any set regulations you should be part of etc.
