Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for an Accounts Assistant role

Please find attached my up to date CV as I am very interested in applying for the role of Accounts Assistant that I have seen advertised in (which publication or online site) and (when).

My background is in administration but I have always had a keen interest in Maths, finances and
figures and would like to work as an Accounts Assistant utilising the skills I have gained. I am a very organised person who works in a methodical manner. My administration skills are of a good level and I have had the experience of typing, spreadsheets, organising records and databases, filing, answering the telephone, dealing with queries both from employees of the company and also external clients, and I also deal with the petty cash records and ensuring that it balances.

I am a very organised and motivated individual who enjoys doing a varied role and I feel that I could do this role well. I like to work as part of a team and also on my own initiative. I have had the experience of meeting with customers and clients and acted as a source of help by finding out information for people relating to various things such as payroll and their payslips to invoices to and from customers.

Please find attached my CV which shows my experiences in detail. Should you want some more information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely
