If you are currently a student and looking to apply for jobs whilst you study then it is important to show your possible future employers what you are looking to do and what you have done even if only work experience in the past.

As you are at the beginning of your career, it is important to focus on the skills that you have that are transferable to a job and something that an employer is looking for. Refer to the job advert that you have seen and are looking to apply for.

Remember that you also have other qualities about your personality which are important to an employer so lay out everything that you have before beginning to write your CV and below you will find an example of a CV which you can use as a guide. I am a responsible student studying (what subject, at where and in what year, how long or some information). As part of my studies I am keen to get some work experience and I am interested in your role of a Barista, Call Centre operator, Administrator, bar person, waiter, waitress etc.

I am a very organized person who likes to be kept busy. I am very eager to learn new skills. I work well in a team, as well as on my own initiative. I am enthusiastic and like to work hard to ensure that I am successful in everything that I do.
