If you are looking to work in a Gym as a receptionist, then you will need to be good with people and to have a background in a reception job or customer services. I am an outgoing yet professional person with excellent communication skills. I have spent the past 3 years working with customers face to face and over the telephone, providing support and guidance to them. In my role as a Gym Receptionist I deal with queries coming into the gym from new customers looking to join to existing customers looking to book certain classes. My responsibilities include:

  • Book customers onto classes they are interested in
  • Take payment details and membership information for new customers
  • Customer ID and Gym member ship badges
  • General cleaning in the reception area

QUALIFICATIONS

University, College, School – For all include titles/subjects and qualifications.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Computer skills – MS Office, Excel??? Anything relevant, industry specific packages?
Any specific packages – reservations, booking systems etc.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS

What do you like to do outside of work? – This gives the employer a feel for you as a person although this is not essential.
