If you are looking to work in a Gym as a receptionist, then you will need to be good with people and to have a background in a reception job or customer services. As a Gym receptionist you will be answering calls from customers who could be looking to book on a class in the gym, join for membership, ask for general advice, down to a customer who has lost something at the gym on a previous visit.
The role is extremely varied and to do this successfully you will need to be able to communicate well with people and provide a service to them whether this is over the telephone or on a face to face basis.
If you have found a role in which you are keen to apply for, please see the below example which you may use as a guide.
Gym Receptionist CV Example
I am an outgoing yet professional person with excellent communication skills. I have spent the past 3 years working with customers face to face and over the telephone, providing support and guidance to them. I take pride in my work and I like to ensure that I provide the best service I can to customers as this is how I would like to be treated.
I am very efficient, I like to do many tasks and do not like to sit and wait for jobs. I like to work in a high pressure environment as I feel this challenges my own skills and experiences. I am organized, have a good telephone manner and feel that my overall administration skills are good.
