I have recently seen your advert for a Purchase Ledger Clerk advertised in (where) on (when) and I would like to apply.
Please find enclosed my CV which shows my detailed experience.
I have had previous experience working in a busy Accounts office and taken on some of the duties of a Purchase Ledger Clerk but am now looking to do this role on a continuous basis and continue with my on the job learning.
I was responsible for processing staff purchases and expenses, balancing petty cash, writing cheques for the Directors to sign, making BACS payments and dealing with invoices and ensuring they are filed appropriately.
I am very organised and hard-working, I enjoy working with numbers and being in a busy Accounts office and I see this as being my career choice. I am now looking for a company that I can stay with on a long term basis and learn everything about a company.
