Asda Cover Letter Example

If you are keen to work with ASDA and you have seen a role advertised that you want to apply for, then it is important to ensure that you do your research into ASDA themselves as well as look carefully at the job role that you want to do for ASDA.

ASDA has more than 631 stores across the UK, with their head office being based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and they are owned by the parent group Wal-Mart which is a US-based company. ASDA is not just a food retailer but also specialises in their own clothing range (George Clothing) and their own home range as well as finance, banking and mobile services.

I have recently finished school/college and I am now seeking a role and have been very interested in ASDA. I would like to begin a career in retail and I feel that the role that you have got advertised will be a good starting block for a retail career.

I am very keen to learn the whole retail trade and work around the different departments gaining experience and I feel that ASDA is a good company to do this with as you allow people the opportunity to develop in a retail career environment.

I am organised and proactive, I enjoy learning new skills and always put 100% effort into my work. I am good with people and feel that I could have excellent customer service skills.
