If you are looking to be a Music teacher then you will need to be qualified in Music and or teaching and possibly a combination of both. The requirements for this will depend on the individual school or establishment. You will be experienced and interested in music enough to be able to teach pupils at a school, or students at a college or private students etc.
You will need a great deal of patience and the ability to be enthusiastic and help to build up a student’s confidence whilst they are learning. You will need to be able to plan music lessons, help students preparing for music exams and get them ready for school performances etc.
