If you are interested in working as a Finance Administrator then you will be good with both numbers as well as administration. As a finance administrator you will administrate everything within the finance department such as raising invoices, sending out invoices, letters, communications etc and generally being a point of contact for any queries that come into the department.
You will need to be an organised person to do this role well and understand how the department works and what is involved in ensuring that invoices are sent out on time but also that the business is also paid don time and that outstanding monies are chased according to the payment terms.

Application for the role of Finance Administrator
I would like to apply for the role of Finance Administrator which I have seen advertised in (which publication and when).
I am a very organised administrator that pays great attention to detail. I like to ensure that I am thoroughly organised in my work and that I complete my work on time and efficiently. Recently I have been working alongside accounts and helping to set up systems and ways of sending out invoices and ensuring that monies are paid on time and I have enjoyed this role thoroughly.
I have good skills in all Microsoft Office packages and have done some work on Sage Accounts also. I find new systems easy to pick up and I enjoy learning and finding out about new systems that make work more efficient and less time consuming.
Please find enclosed my up to date CV. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding my skills and experience and look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV.
