Application for the role of Animal Technician
I would like to apply for the role of Animal Technician which you have advertised in (which publication, when and any job reference).
I have always been interested in researching and studying and also have a keen interest in animals so I would like to pursue a career as an Animal Technician. I have got a good standard of education and higher education as you can see from my CV and I have been looking into the role of an animal technician.
I understand that in this role I will be required to look after the animals in the laboratory and ensure they have enough water and food as required and that they are comfortable in their homes and that they are kept clean at all times in a hygienic environment. I understand that I will be able to support the lab technicians and scientists in their research and carry out regular checks on the lab animals.
I have enclosed my CV which details my skills and experiences. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV.
You should amend this letter example as suitable before sending it to potential employers. Good luck.
