Account Executive Cover Letter Example

If you have found a role of an Account Executive that you want to apply for then you will usually have experience of running a number of Accounts to a high standard and level. You will need to be good at developing relationships e.g. Accounts and speaking to your Account holders every day. You will need to gain in-depth knowledge on how they want their accounts running and you may have to provide support to less junior Accounts people in the business.

Starting salaries for Account Executives are between £20,000 to £26,000 a year. Experienced executives can earn between £30,000 and £45,000 a year.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Account Executive

I would like to apply for the role of Account Executive which I have seen advertised in (where) and (when).

I am an experienced Account Executive who has run many accounts at once (what value if known or size) and I enjoy the challenge of taking new accounts and developing these into successful accounts.

I feel that I build up good relationships with people and take the time to listen to their queries or worries and this is all part of learning how to run a good account and have happy clients.

I am very organised and methodical in my working manner; I have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and I pay great attention to detail. I like to make sure that I get things right the first time and do not allow myself to make mistakes.

I enjoy working with others and have had some experience in training junior colleagues and teaching them skills that I have learnt over the years. I am now looking for a fresh challenge in a new industry and feel that this role would be right for me.
