Warehouse Assistant Cover Letter Example

If you are interested in being a Warehouse Assistant, you will need to be physically fit, able to work in differing temperatures to certain targets according to deliveries. Warehouse Assistants usually work in distribution centres, warehouses looking for stock (picking) and loading it (packing) up for the correct delivery. Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for a Warehouse Assistant

I have seen your advert for a Warehouse Assistant which was advertised in (where) and (when) and I would like to apply for this role.

In previous roles, I have had experience in using scanners to book stock out of the warehouse ready for the deliveries as well as packing deliveries and putting deliveries away and helping to keep a busy and tidy warehouse with my colleagues. I feel that I am accurate with the relevant paperwork and have dealt with couriers as well as internal delivery drivers and can communicate well with others.

I have a good level of education, especially maths, English and IT skills and I feel that I can work well in a team environment as well as on my own initiative and am able to work to daily targets as this is something I have been used to doing.

I enjoy working in a busy warehouse environment and work well under pressure. I can work any shift system necessary and have no restrictions on my working pattern.
