Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Veterinary Technician

I would like to apply for the role of Veterinary Technician that you have advertised in (where) and (when) for (which practice).

I have always had a keen interest in the Sciences and did Biology and Chemistry at A Level and I have wanted to pursue a career as a Vet and would like to experience how it is to work in a Veterinary surgery first hand and feel that by working as a Veterinary Technician I will be able to do this whilst providing support to the Vet in charge.

Having looked into your practice and clients that you work with, I am very excited to be able to apply for this role. I would like to work with all animals as you do and have always been interested in large animals and the challenges a Vet faces whilst working with these animals.

I am a methodical worker who is not afraid to get stuck in. I enjoy learning and working hard and I feel that working with animals and helping them to get better is something I would really enjoy as a career. I am passionate about making a difference and feel that I could be of great support.
I have enclosed my CV for your interest. If you are interested in my skills, please do not hesitate to contact me.
