Transport Manager Cover Letter Example

If you are interested in a Transport Manager role then you will have worked in a Transport role for a few years and understand the role inside out. Application for the role of Transport Manager

I have recently seen a role of Transport Manager which you have advertised in (which publication/online and when) and I would like to apply for this role.

I started my career working in a warehouse role and have learnt on the job for the past 5 years. I hold a forklift truck licence, I can run a distribution centre and I have been responsible for organising delivery runs and schedules for the past year.

I feel that I am now ready for a fresh challenge and having worked with wagons and deliveries I feel that I will be able to make the transition well. I have also had the experience of supervising and managing others and working well with others.

I enjoy working in this environment and work hard to achieve what I can. I am not afraid to learn new skills and am always looking for new ways to work better and smarter and run things more efficiently.

Throughout my roles, I have developed my communication skills and feel that I have got excellent communication skills and can explain and teach staff new procedures and ways of working.
