If you have been through a first and second interview and you are looking to express your thanks and remind a company about you then it is a good thing to do. It brings your name to the forefront of their minds again once they have finished interviewing and getting ready to make some decisions.
Make sure that when you do write your letter than you recap over discussions that you have had in the first two interviews as this will show that you have paid attention, taken what they have said on board and it might be an idea to do some more research and throw this in as an afterthought that you have thought about it since your interview etc.
If you are ready to write your letter, please see below the example letter which you can use as a guide.

Interviews for the position of NAME OF POSITION
Thank you for giving me the opportunity of a first and second interview with COMPANY NAME for the position of JOB ROLE.
I am very interested in the role that we have been discussing at both interviews and would really like to work for COMPANY NAME. As we have discussed, I feel that my skills and experiences are what COMPANY NAME and role need. My skills cross over greatly and I feel that I have some good ideas on how to develop the role and help build the business further.
Since the second interview I have been looking into the role and your company further and feel that I could bring X.Y and Z to the role that would help to drive business further. I think if you agree, joining your business is at a very exciting time and if you feel my skills are right for this role, I would be very happy to make this work.
Finally, I would like to thank you once again for all the time that you have taken interviewing me and showing me round your business, I am very grateful for such a thorough insight.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
