Taxi Driver Cover Letter Example

taxi driver cover letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Taxi Driver

I would like to apply for the role of Taxi Driver that I have seen advertised in (what publication, when and any job reference).

I have been driving for (how long) and I have a clean driving licence. I enjoy driving and believe that I have a good working knowledge of (what local area) and the surrounds. I have never had a Sat Nav so always use the old fashioned maps and feel that this is the reason that I have been able to learn the areas so well.

I am a patient person who takes pride in my work. I am happy to work both day and night shifts and I understand the caution that I will need to exercise at all times with the general public but especially at nights when picking up from town.

I am also happy to do both short and long journeys including airport runs etc so would be grateful to be allowed to be considered for both roles.

Please find enclosed my latest CV for your consideration. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV.

Yours sincerely
