Dear Sir/Madam,
Application for the role of Sous Chef
I have seen your advert for the role of Sous Chef with your restaurant advertised in (which publication and when) and I would like to apply for this role.
I have always had a keen interest in cooking and working with different ingredients. I like to try making different dishes and usually have a good eye for what foods should go with what. I feel that I am a very creative person and show this through my food.
I am now looking to progress my career through being a Sous Chef, as you will see from my CV I have worked at different establishments learning about food and different methods of cooking and I would be very interested in working for your restaurant as you have a great reputation in the industry.
I would be happy to come and show you my culinary skills and to discuss the role in further detail. I am a very organised person who pays great attention to detail. I work well with others and like to work hard in a calm and patient manner.
I have enclosed my CV for your consideration. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to discuss anything further with you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV and I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
