Dear Mr Manager
I am keen to apply for the above advertised vacancy and am attaching my CV for your information.
As you will see from my CV, I have spent the past few years working as a boiler technician and am now looking to further develop my skills in this area. I am excellent at diagnosing faults and enjoy challenges as I have a naturally analytical brain. I am practical and hard working, always adhering to strict health and safety guidelines and working within company policy and procedures. I have a good standard of physical health and fitness and am flexible and hard working- always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a job is done to the highest possible standards. I have a full driving licence and am willing to work antisocial hours as and when the job requires it. I am happy working on my own initiative, solving problems and making repairs without supervision but I also work well as a member of a team and have good customer service skills. I am qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and am Gas Safe registered.
I look forward to discussing my skills with you in more detail.
