Dear Sir/Madam,
Application for the role of Sales person
I have recently seen your advert for the role of a Sales person advertised in (where) and (when) and I would like to submit my CV in application for this role.
I have had previous sales experience from a store point of view whereby I have been selling different products to customers and providing advice on what they should buy and what the best deals, offers are. I have always worked to strict targets in my roles and this is something I enjoy.
I now feel that I would like to do a more field based sales role such as the one that you have advertised and think that I have gained enough experience so far to be able to perform well in this role. I am happy to travel around, have my own transport and a clean driving licence and no restrictions on my working week.
I am a confident communicator who is able to work just as well as part of a team as on my own initiative. I also realise that in this role I will be working on my own for the majority of the time and I feel comfortable with this.
I have enclosed my CV for you to look at and would be able to attend an interview at short notice. I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have on the telephone beforehand should this be easier for you.
