A retail supervisor has a great deal of responsibility to ensure that the targets of the store are met and achieved each week/month as measured. As well as ensuring that the store achieves and is successful, a supervisor will also have to ensure the smooth running of the staff employed in the store. This could include setting rotas, employing new staff, covering for staff when they are off sick or on holiday etc.
You will need an all round view of the store you are responsible for and ensure that you and your staff provide excellent customer service at all times to ensure you get repeat business.
