Removals Worker Cover Letter Example

If you have seen a job as a Removals Worker that you are interested in applying for then you will be physically fit and able to manoeuvre and carry heavy equipment. As a removals worker you will mainly be helping people to move house but you could also be helping people to move between business premises etc. You will need to be able to look at a piece of furniture and be able to manoeuvre it out of a sometimes tight space, this requires great thought so as not to damage anything.

You don’t need to have any specific qualification to work as a removals worker however you must fit and in good health. Removals workers salaries are between £12,000 and over £20,000 a year. Experienced workers are earning more and there may be extra earnings such as shift allowance.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Removals Worker

I would like to apply for the role of Removals Worker that I have seen advertised in (where) and (when).

I have always worked in hands on roles and consider myself to be physically fit. I have had the advantage of helping friends and family to move house and understand how it can be tricky sometimes to move furniture from certain rooms. I consider myself to be thorough and careful when doing this role and understand the implications of making any damage.

I am an organised person who likes to be kept busy and I enjoy getting a job done thoroughly and professionally. I have excellent communication skills and feel that I have an easy nature to get along with others. I respect other people’s property and like to ensure that I provide a good service in whatever work I do.

I have enclosed my CV for your consideration, if you are interested in my skills and experiences please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV.

Yours sincerely
