Radiographer Cover Letter Example

If you are a qualified and trained Radiographer then you will be experienced in providing x rays to inpatients and outpatients usually in a hospital setting to help diagnose problems with bones, joints etc.

You will need excellent communication skills to be able to explain to patients what will be happening to them and what they can expect and to be able to put some patients who are worried at ease. An x-ray is a vital tool to find and diagnose problems with patients and decide upon the right course of treatment.

If you want to become a Radiographer you will need to complete a degree or postgraduate qualification which is approved by Health and Care Professions Council. You will be dealing with people who are worried about their health so you must be a people person and you should feel and show sympathy.

Salaries

If you are a newly qualified radiographer then your earning can earn between £21,388 and £27,901 a year. Once you have some experience in this job then you can earn up to £34,500 a year.

Radiographers with management skills can earn up to £40,500 a year. Consultants can earn even more up to £68,000 a year.
