Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Psychotherapist

I would like to apply for the role of Psychotherapist which I have seen advertised in (where and when).

I am a degree educated individual who studied (what and what qualification, grade, where etc). Following my degree I studied further to be a Psychotherapist doing my training and work experience at (where, with who, what, provide any details here). I am now excited to be able to start my career properly as a psychotherapist and I was very interested to see your role advertised and would very much like to be considered.

During my training I have worked with children and adults trying to find out about their past experiences and any events such as a bereavement that has caused them pain and help them to find a way of dealing with these problems and how to move on with their lives free of this emotional torment. It is especially hard dealing with children as they do not understand why they behave in a certain way but I find this challenging.

I am a kind natured person who has excellent communication skills. I feel that I am a good listener and I enjoy giving people the time and attention they need to make themselves feel better.
