Oil Job Cover Letter Example

If you are looking to work in the Oil industry then you may work on an Oil rig in the sea. Usually to work in this area you will be qualified to degree level in your area of specialism and be happy to be away from home for long periods of time.

To work in this industry you could be an Engineer, Electrical or Mechanical, you could be responsible for fixing the Oil rigs and machinery used. Whatever you area of specialism an employer will be looking for a good understanding of the role and be confident that you can work and be on call whilst on the rig.

Working at an Oil Rig is very popular these days due to high salaries within this industry however it’s difficult to get a job due to high demand. You can always contact to oil companies directly to ask questions about working with them or there are recruitment agencies who does that job for them.

Application for the role of Oil Worker

I have recently seen the position of Oil worker advertised in (which publication/online etc and when) and I would like to submit my CV in application.

I graduated from (which university, in when) in Mechanical Engineering and I did an element of working with Oil and have got a good understanding of this role and I am very much looking forward to beginning a career on an Oil rig.

I feel that my efforts and work on an oil rig for months at a time will be good as it allows you to concentrate on the job in hand and develop it whilst fully concentrating on it.

I am a hard worker, I am keen to learn new skills and I feel that I have had a lot of experience in working with others and developing my communication skills. I feel that good communication is vital for most roles and for running a successful business.
