Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for an Office Assistant

I would like to apply for the role of Office Assistant which I have seen advertised on (where) and (when).

I have had previous experience of working in a busy office environment and consider myself to be a very organised and methodical worker. I like to make lists of what I am expected to do during my day and I like to ensure that these tasks are done and not left to another day.

I am IT literate and very experience in Word, PowerPoint and all MS Office packages. I regularly type letters and documents for Managers and send emails daily. I am also responsible for ordering any office equipment and ensuring that we do not run out.

I have a confident nature when dealing with other people both internally and visitors to a company. I understand the basics of health and safety which is also important in an office environment.

I like to work on my own initiative as well as in a team environment and enjoy working on several things at once keeping the work life very busy. I feel that I am very good with other people and have been responsible for training new people in the business and helping them to settle in.
