I am a methodical engineer who thrives off learning new technical information. I always wanted to be an engineer so was very pleased to be able to graduate as a manufacturing engineer in (what year). I enjoy troubleshooting and altering the design of products to ensure that they work in a better way overall.

I enjoy being part of developing and implementing new procedures within manufacturing. I am a true researcher as well as having very practical skills. I like the practical side of engineering and enjoy seeing things from conception to delivery.

I have excellent communication skills and enjoy meeting new clients and suppliers to find out about new products and ways of doing things. I have good AutoCAD and IT experience and always enjoy working with new systems and computer systems.


Date to Date or To Date – Manufacturing Engineer – Where?

In my role as a Manufacturing Engineer, I work closely with other departments in an automotive production unit. My responsibilities include:

  • Managing engineering processes
  • Developing new systems with other departments
  • Deal with suppliers
  • Research new products and ways of working
  • Developing procedures and implementing them
  • Production of manufacturing documentation
  • Support manufacturing and dispatching processes
  • Produce draft drawings in 2D specific to customer details.


University, College, School – For all include titles/subjects and qualifications.


Computer skills – MS Office, Excel??? Anything relevant, industry specific packages? AutoCAD packages?
Any Engineering memberships?
