Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of IT Helpdesk Manager

I would like to apply for the role of IT Helpdesk Manager which I have seen advertised in (which publication or online and when).

I have been working in an IT support role for (how long) and enjoy being able to help customers and clients when they are struggling with their IT equipment. I like to ensure that I understand their products and systems very carefully so that I can provide the best support I can and resolve their issues in a timely fashion.

Having done this role for (how long), I now feel that I am ready for a new challenge and having supervised staff in my Manager’s absence I feel that I have got good management skills and I would like to take this further.

I have detailed my support experience clearly in my CV for you to look through including any training courses that I have been on and areas and systems that I have learnt.

I have good communication skills as demonstrated by my support roles and I have got good feedback which I can show you if you were to invite me to an interview.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Yours sincerely

NAME SURNAME

Good luck.
