If you are looking to be Insurance Claims Handler then you will have a good solid background in Customer Services and or Insurance with some finance knowledge. As a Claims Handler you will be speaking to clients on a daily basis and taking details from them about their claims and creating a log of their claim and following this all the way through until the claim has been resolved and the file/case can be closed.
You will need excellent communication skills to do this role and have the ability to be accurate and concentrate on talking to different customers all day long. You will need to be thorough within your paperwork also.
