Income Officer Cover Letter Example

If you are looking to be an Income Officer you will usually work for a local government environment visiting tenants in council properties and collecting rents and ensuring that any problems are dealt with and any backlogs agreed and resolved.

You will need a clean driving licence to travel around to different places and you will also need to have a confident and clear manner when dealing with different people.

I would like to apply for the role of Income Officer which I have seen advertised in (where) and (when). Please find enclosed my up to date CV which details my skills and experiences.

I have had experience of working in a similar industry for a private landlord company where it was my role to contact tenants, arrange a time to collect rents from them and follow up on any arrears. I spend a great deal of the time on certain days on the road and try to plan my collection and seeing tenants on certain days and then use the other days for making appointments and general admin and for any emergency situations which arise.

I enjoy talking to different people, I feel that I am a confident communicator who is a good listener and I like to help people in difficult situations as much as I can whilst following company procedures.

I am an organised and motivated person, I enjoy learning new skills and like to improve myself to ensure that I do the best I can for the company I work for.
