If you are looking for a HR Manager role then you will have a great deal of experience in the area of HR and also of being a Manager. As a HR Manager you will be expected to be able to manage a team of HR professionals managing their workload against the requirements of the business.
Usually you will come from a generalist background for this role and have a wide knowledge of HR and of dealing with staff and others in a business. You will need to be a confident communicator and very experienced in handling situations under pressure. You have to have wide range of management skills in order to become a HR Manager. This role is usually for graduates unless you have great deal of experience in this field.
Starting salary for newly graduated HR Managers are between £22,000 and £26,000 a year. Senior Managers can earn up to £80,000 a year starting from £35,000.
