Hospital Porter Cover Letter Example

If you have seen a role as a hospital porter that you are interested in applying for then you may have previous experience or be a hard, hands on worker. You will need to be considerate of the needs of both patients and their relatives and visitors and be able to provide help in terms of directions etc and support in case of moving a patient from a ward to x ray for example.

You should be patient and very friendly if you want to be a hospital porter. You would be working under pressure most times and face difficult situations. You don’t need to have any qualification in order to become a hospital porter.

Salaries for porters are between £14,294 and £17,425 a year. You may be also getting additional payments such as overtime and shift allowances.
