Dear Sir/Madam
Application for the role of Gas Engineer
I have recently seen your advert for the role of Gas Engineer which I have seen advertised in (which publication and when). Please find enclosed my CV detailing my qualifications and experiences to date.
I have finished training as a Gas Engineer to Level 3 of NVQ and thoroughly enjoyed my time learning and training. I have also done some work experience through my training and now am very excited to find a role I can get involved in.
I am a very hands on person, hence my choice in career and I like to keep learning and updating my skills. I am a methodical person who enjoys working to a set of rules and procedures and working with Gas and Gas appliances means that you need to be strict following precautions at all times.
I am available for an interview at short notice as I have recently finished training and should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV.
Yours sincerely
