As a Freight forwarder you would be responsible for organising the movement of goods and cargo around the UK and overseas. You would need to have good geography and have a good idea of where things are over the country and overseas as you will be planning the best routes to transport the goods.

I would like to submit my CV in application for the role of Freight Forwarder which you have advertised in (where, when). Please find enclosed my up to date CV.
In my previous roles I have had experience of planning routes and travel on a smaller scale, however looking at the best routes for travelling and feel that as an organised person I am good at doing this research and finding thorough information.
I have had a lot of experience of liaising with different clients and suppliers and feel that my communication skills are second to none.
In my degree at university I did a supply chain element and I feel that this has given me a good insight into the world of transport and feel that this is the career path that I would like to follow.
I have excellent administration skills; have dealt with organising contracts and ensuring they are returned for the correct time, preparing invoices and quotations and doing general admin including letters, sending out brochures and marketing material to promote our business and ensuring that the website is up to date for clients to look at and have regular updates.
