Florist Cover Letter Example

If you are looking to be a florist then you will be a creative person who likes flowers and has an interest in flowers. Usually florists are small, mainly independent stores of maybe one or two workers so it is important that you can work well with usually the owner of the business and act as a good number two support to that business.

As well as having a keen interest in flowers and a good understand of flowers you will have excellent customer service skills and be able to offer advice to customers coming into the store or calling over the telephone of what they should buy.

Salaries for Florist can be between £16,000 and £25,000 a year. If you are running your own shop then earnings will be vary depending on the location and size of your business.

Application for the role of Florist

I would like to apply for the role of Florist which I have seen advertised in (where) and (when).
I have always had a keen interest in flowers and enjoy buying different flowers for my own home. I am now in a position where I would like to find a role such as the one that you have got advertised and put the knowledge that I have already gained to good use.

I have a background in working in a variety of stores and feel that I have excellent customer service skills and like to work in a small shop environment and get to know my regular customers and be as helpful and attentive as I can be for them.
