Cover Letter for Facility Engineer
1st May 2014
Mrs. A. Manager
Application for the role of Facility Engineer
I have recently seen your advert in (where) and (when) for the role of Facility Engineer and I would like to apply. Please find enclosed my latest CV.
My background started in a customer service environment where I have been responsible for organising work for customers to be done and followed up at each stage and got feedback and provided advice. I enjoy talking and working with customers and feel that having looked into the role that you have advertised that I would be able to perform well in this type of role as my skill set is transferable to the skills you require.
I am a hard working, hands on individual with a good knowledge of health and safety and the standards and requirements that are needed in any building. I know about the safe procedures to do with heating, lighting and fire and feel that I could liaise with the appropriate department well to ensure any issues are dealt with.
I have enclosed my CV for your consideration. Should you be interested in my skills, please do not hesitate to contact me.
In the meantime thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV and I look forward to hearing from you.
