Credit Manager Cover Letter Example

If you are looking for a role as a Credit Manager then you will have a proven track record in deciding who to give credit to as part of your company’s thorough checks and being able to manage a team of staff who are approving credit for customers.

As part of your role you will need to check customer’s credit history and perform checks to see if they can be given credit in accordance with the terms and conditions. You will need to be an excellent communicator and customer focused for this role. You will be checking credit histories and make decisions about lending.

Salaries for Credit Managers are between £27,000 and £38,000 a year. With experience your earnings can be between £40,000 and £50,000 a year.

Application for the role of Credit Manager

I would like to apply for the role of Credit Manager which you have got advertised in (where and when).

I have worked in finance for (how long) and worked in a credit role assessing customers suitability to gaining credit of varying amounts depending on their requirements and keeping on top of any lending and ensuring that payments are made on time and negotiating repayment plans where necessary.
I have been supervising a team for (how long) and feel that I am now ready for a Manager role and feel that with my excellent communication skills I will be able to motivate and encourage a team and teach them the skills of credit that I have learnt over the years myself.
