Dear HR,

I would like to express my interest in applying for the Contact Tracing job you have advertised on jobvacancies.net.

I have been working for the NHS as booking administrator for about 7 years. As you will see from my CV I have extensive experience on communicating with customers over the telephone, arranging appointments and writing reports.

I am also working voluntarily to help the elderly and vulnerable people where I live.

I would like to be considered for the position of Contact Tracing Officer as I believe I possess the right skills and job experience.

I am immediately available for an interview whether it’s online via Teams or a face to face interview at a location.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Make sure that your writing is spelling and grammatical errors free if you want your cover letter to work for you.

It is always good idea to get your CV and application letter or email to be checked and proof read by someone else to make sure it’s all good.

You don’t need to write a long letter. Keep it short and concise. Use relevant work experiences and skills. Anything else will be unnecessary and won’t be read by HR staff.

Good luck.
