Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Construction Operative

I would like to apply for the role of Construction Operative which I have seen advertised in (which publication and when). Please find enclosed my up to date CV.

I have worked in the Construction industry before but have recently relocated to the area and I am now seeking a new role (amend to suit your reasons for looking for a new job, new challenge etc).
In my previous role I provided support to the project team in any way possible from unloading materials from vehicles to sweeping the site. I am always keen to learn new tasks and always happy to try new things and help support the team in any way I can.

I feel that I am physically fit and I can keep up to the hard pace role in Construction. I am also geared up for working in all weathers and have been used to working in the snow on many an occasion.
I enjoy working outdoors and seeing a site from beginning to end, it is a real challenge to get it completed on time and within budget for all the team which is something I thrive on being part of.

I have enclosed my CV for your interest. Should you have any questions about my skills and experiences, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV.

Yours sincerely
