A Catering Engineer is someone who looks after the equipment in a catering environment including the servicing of the equipment to ensure that all catering equipment in an establishment works at all times to prevent any downtime.
You will need to be hands on and good at repairing equipment and understand exactly how they work. You will need to have good product knowledge as you may be dealing with many different types of equipment.
You could be travelling across the country doing calls as required and you will need to be able to plan your appointments and time carefully taking into account the time travelling between calls as your area could be quite wide.

I am a qualified Catering Engineer in (what products, from where doing what? – you may want to expand on what equipment that you have used and what you are used to working with and what you use on a weekly basis, you could add into it any training that you have had/done and what is involved.)
I am a very hands on engineer, I have spent many years travelling to different calls and appointments and I feel that I manage my time well and always get through my call list each day. I cover quite a wide area and I am used to this travelling.
I am a confident communicator, like to make a difference to people through servicing and fixing their broken equipment. This equipment needing to be used is time sensitive due to the fact that it is mainly in schools and hospitals where they need the equipment each day.
