Building Technician Cover Letter Example

If you are looking to be a Building Technician then you will usually begin your career through on the job training supporting project managers on building projects. You will need an excellent knowledge base of building materials and understanding building methods.

You will spend a great deal of time with site managers and customers dealing with any issues they may have or giving them updates on the progress of the building. You will need to help with any plans and decide the best way forward. As a building technician, your job is to support building managers and construction projects.

Starting salaries for building technicians are around £15,000 and £20,000 a year. With experience, technicians can earn up to £25,000.
