Beauty Therapist CV Example

If you are looking to be a Beauty Therapist then you will be trained and experienced in providing beauty treatments to clients. As a Beauty Therapist you will do manicures, pedicures, waxing, tans and other treatments. As these are all different treatments you need to be prepared to keep up to date with all the latest trends and ways of doing things especially with nail colours and ways of doing nails.

You will enjoy working in a hands on role and be an excellent communicator. You will work with clients all day usually in your own premises or as a mobile therapist.

PERSONAL PROFILE

I am a hands on beauty therapist who trained in beauty to help people feel better about themselves and get a treat when they need a little pick me up. I am always keen to learn new skills in beauty and have recently done a nail art course to help with designing shellac nails for my customers.

I am an excellent communicator and enjoy spending time with different customers and building relationships with them and finding out what they like and what treatments they have etc.

In my role of Beauty Therapist, I provide treatments to my clients in order to make them look and feel good about themselves. My responsibilities include:

  • Arranging appointments for clients wanting to come to the salon
  • Doing health checks with new clients in case of any emergencies or allergies etc
  • Providing treatments to clients in terms of what they have booked
  • Recommending new treatments for future
  • Selling products used in massage, nails, facials etc
  • Ensuring the salon is clean and tidy at all times and with a nice ambiance for the clients.
