Banking Assistant Cover Letter Example

If you are looking to be a Banking Assistant then you will normally come from a Customer Service type background. You will need to be able to deal with customers coming into a bank and provide advice or point them in the right direction and discuss their account details with them explaining anything that they are unsure of. You will need to be able to keep up to date with new services and products being introduced and work to targets.

Starting salaries for Banking Assistants can be between £12,000 to £17,000 a year. If you have experience and management responsibilities then your earnings can rise to between £18,000 and £30,000 a year.

I would like to apply for the role of Banking Assistant which I have seen advertised on (where) and (when).

I have a solid background in Customer Service which I have gained from (where) and I enjoy communicating and talking to different people. I feel that I pick up new things quickly and can adapt to different environments.

I work well using computerised systems and have learnt many in house systems fast. I have a mathematical mind and feel good working around numbers. I am an organised and accurate worker with a thirst for learning new skills and improving for myself and the company I work for.

I feel that I have good listening skills and can help people with different kinds of information and would enjoy learning new products. I would view this as a challenge and I enjoy working in a challenging environment. I have no restrictions on my time and am able to work whatever hours as necessary.
