As an Art Director, you could work in a number of different settings from a school, university, art gallery, college etc. You will need to be degree educated in Art and have a good working knowledge and experience to perform in this role.
An Art Director will be involved in all the key decisions regarding Art whether it be the type of Art taught in University or where Art should be placed in a gallery. You will need to have a creative but logical mind and be open to new ideas and works. You will also need excellent management and business skills.
