Dear HR,

I would like to apply for the role of Ambulance care assistant advertised on your job site. Please find my enclosed CV for your consideration.

I have been working as a delivery driver for Tesco for the last 2 years. I now would love to work for the NHS and help my community as much as I could, particularly in these challenging circumstances. I understand that in this role I could be expected to drive the ambulance or take care of the patients within the ambulance and I would feel confident dealing with either of these after training.

I am good at driving as illustrated by receiving no points since obtaining my full UK driving license 7 years ago. I have experience in reading paper maps and following the GPS successfully.

I delivered food to elderly and vulnerable people during the lockdown as a Tesco delivery driver over the past 6 months during the pandemic. This has given me many opportunities to demonstrate my caring attitude and excellent customer communication and highlighted how important these roles are for people in vulnerable positions in society.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my application.

Kind Regards
